Intercessory Prayer and Fasting Ministry
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings should be made for everyone.”—1 Timothy 2:1 NRSV
The vision of VBFC Prayer and Fasting Ministry is to Embrace, Encourage, Elevate, Evangelize, and Educate through focused intercessory prayer and fasting. We are to assist in the tearing down of strongholds, removing burdens and destroying yokes, setting the captives free from bondage, and most importantly bringing souls to God, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Scripture exhorts us to pray for everyone with supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings. Therefore, we are to pray for the vision and mission of VBFC; our Bishop and his family; our elders, ministers, leaders, and their families; our VBFC family; our community; our nation and leaders; and, our world.
